Hosted in Saltillo, Mexico and Tunisia, Africa, these events reinforced our #OneBIC approach to work and amplified our relentless focus on operational excellence. 🌎 The key objectives of the summit included alignment on goals and priorities needed to achieve our Horizon Strategy, emphasizing customer service, cost management, and inventory optimization.     #BIC's 2023 Annual General Meeting, held today, 29-May, gave us the opportunity to look back on an eventful year, discuss our performance and engage our shareholders. The three imperatives that reflect BIC’s performance in 2023 are: Momentum: Thanks to our Horizon strategic plan, we have equipped ourselves with the tools we needed to move forward in 2023, and which we will continue to develop to fuel our growth in 2024. Confidence: In a highly unstable geopolitical context, and as households around the world continue to be hit by inflation, they have confidence in companies such as BIC, which offer essential products at the best quality and value for money. Execution: Our determination to achieve our 2025 growth and margin targets is helping us to develop and maintain a standard of excellence at all levels; by continuing our focus on operations, but also on innovation, diversification and expanding our portfolio. With the Horizon strategic plan, we are building the future and preparing to push our limits even further in the years to come, thanks to our operational excellence and the commitment of all our team members worldwide.     Our team in Ivory Coast has recently partnered with one of the flagship universities (UCAO – Université Catholique de l'Afrique de l'Ouest, Unité Universitaire à Abidjan) in the country to engage youth in driving innovative business solutions. Through the partnership, master’s degree students will conduct research to help foster creativity and knowledge sharing, working on BIC focused brand positioning and perception projects. By working with students, we remain true to our commitment to support the next generation of thinkers and problem solvers.
